General information
Within the framework of this privacy policy, you will find information about the processing of personal data carried out by us, Map My Deal s.r.o., with registered office at Varšavská 715/36, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2, Company ID: 23702265, file number C 431517, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague ("we" or "our company"), about you ("you"), as the data subject.
These principles apply to the processing of personal data in connection with the operation of our website www.mapmydeal.com ("Website") and at the same time to the processing of personal data within the framework of individual web forms available on the Website or otherwise made available by our company ("Form") and further to the processing of personal data within the framework of market surveys organized or facilitated by our company ("Surveys").
These policies are always available on the Website and are also part of individual Forms on the basis of which personal data is processed. You can always familiarize yourself with the policies before starting to participate in a specific Survey, and by registering or otherwise actively confirming, you confirm that you have become familiar with these policies. If the nature of the Survey requires it, confirmation of familiarity with the Policies is a condition for participation in the Survey.
We process your personal data if you (i) fill in the Form or (ii) visit and use the Website. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for filling in the Form and participating in the Survey, or for payment of the reward for participating in the Survey. Without providing them, participation is not possible.
These principles apply only to cases where our company acts as a personal data controller, i.e. we process personal data on our own behalf and for our own purposes. Conversely, if we process personal data on behalf of and according to the instructions of our customers, we act in such cases as a processor and these principles do not apply. If you want to exercise your rights, in such a case you need to exercise them directly against the controller of your personal data. In such cases, we process your data exclusively according to their instructions and we are not authorized to handle requests independently. If you contact us, we will immediately forward your request to the relevant controller.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
What personal data do we process?
We process different categories of personal data about you for different purposes, depending on whether you are a visitor to the Website, or have filled out a Form, or participated in one of the Surveys organized by our company. In particular, these are the following categories of personal data:

Retention of your personal data

Please note that in some cases we may retain your personal data for longer periods, for example (i) where we are required to do so by legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations, (ii) to maintain an accurate record of our dealings with you in the event of complaints or disputes, or (iii) where we reasonably believe that there is a risk of legal proceedings relating to your personal data.
Transfer of personal data to third countries
We do not transfer your personal data outside the EEA.
We may use third-party service providers to perform certain activities on our behalf. Some of these activities may involve the collection, use or transfer of your personal data. These service providers adhere to the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (SCC) or are subject to an adequacy decision in relation to the transfer of personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) to the US or other countries that do not have equivalent privacy and data protection laws. We are responsible for the processing of personal data we receive under the SCC and for ensuring that any subsequent transfers to these service providers acting on our behalf comply with applicable data protection laws.

Right to withdraw consent. If we process your personal data with your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. This also applies to your consent to receive the newsletter. You can always withdraw your consent according to the instructions provided in each consent.

You have the right to access the personal data we process about you, as well as information about what personal data we process about you, for how long, for what purposes we process it, who has access to it and whether we use it for automated decision-making (and how this automated decision-making works).

Right to rectification. If you find that we are processing incomplete or incorrect personal data about you, you have the right to have your personal data corrected or, if the purpose of processing this personal data so requires, to have it completed.
